Amazon is looking to push their tablet, the Kindle Fire, as the most content-rich tablet out there in the already packed Android community. Fire users already had access to lots of TV shows through Prime Instant video since it launched last year but Amazon is announcing today that they have worked out a deal with Viacom to bring even more shows to your tablet.

Some of the biggest names coming over from this deal include MTV, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, TV Land, Spike, VH1 and BET. The Real World, Jersey Shore, Spongebob Squarepants, Dora the Explorer and Chappelle’s Show are now available to watch if you have a Prime Instant video account. This deal brings Amazon’s number up to 15,000 movies and TV shows that they offer, do you Kindle Fire users use it for video streaming through Amazon?

This deal will bring the total number of Prime Instant Videos to more than 15,000. Prime members will have access to thousands of episodes from Viacom through Prime Instant Video over the next several months. Titles will include kids’ favorites, stand-up comedy, and reality TV. Amazon will offer MTV shows including The Hills, Jersey Shore,The Hard Times of RJ Berger, several seasons of The Real World, and Comedy Central shows such as Chappelle’s Show and The Sarah Silverman Program. For kids, Amazon brings Nickelodeon episodes of iCarly, Dora the Explorer, SpongeBob SquarePants, Yo Gabba Gabba, along with TV Land favorite, Hot in Cleveland.
