Sprint is drumming up some excitement about their upcoming LTE smartphones today. News today is that in an interview with a Sprint marketing director, NFC will be playing a huge part in Sprint’s new LTE phones that are coming down the pipe. Trevor Van Norman said that almost all of their upcoming handsets will feature the NFC technology save for the bargain bin handsets and the low end phones.

Paired with this NFC tech will most likely be Google Wallet, seeing as how Sprint is the only carrier to embrace Google’s application. With Verizon and AT&T and other companies getting on the Isis bandwagon, Sprint has been left to support Wallet on their Nexus S already, and will most likely feature it on the Galaxy Nexus when that launches on Sprint as well. Wallet or Isis? Is that a deal-breaker for carriers?
